Sorry for the late post, had a very busy schedule…but
I’m back. For the next 60 day I will
take Shaun T insanity challenge.
I made some awesome Chocolate Protein Bar.
1 cup oat flour
½ cup vaga sport protein power
¼ cup vegan cocoa power
1/2 cup pecans
1 tsp vanilla
½ sea salt
6 tbsp. brown rice syrup
If you do not have any oak flour, you can grind up
the oats until they are fine flour. Combine all of your dry ingredients, then
add the brown rice syrup and vanilla mix everything until the dry ingredients
are fully hydrated, dough should be tickly, but not sticky. It the dough is too
dry and won’t come together. Add a little bit of water.
Once well combined, scrape dough onto a cookie sheet
covered in way paper or a silicone mat. Place wax paper on top and roll out to ½
inch thick, shaping into a square as you rolls. Place bars in the refrigerator and allow to
get harden before cutting into 12 equal pieces. Store the bars refrigerator for 5 days or up
to a month in the freezer.
These bars are good for after workout and snacks.
Last week, I roasted a
Japanese sweet, Jewel Yam, Hannah Sweet, Red Thumb and French Fingerling potato
with a red pepper; the dish was very colorful with an amazing taste.
This week meals with
the same sweet potatoes just baked with my homemade veggie patties that was
posted a week ago.
This week detox drink, Burdock and Dandelion Root tea, both supports healthy Liver and Kidney function.
