Brain and Memory food
I can remember my parents saying as you age you get forgetful, start to lose your memory, your concentration and creative thinking declines as you get older. I believe we all fear this, I also believe we can help ourselves by eating the right foods and exercising our brain. Research done at the University of California has confirmed that, in normal healthy and active brains there is no loss of brain cells.
Here are some tips on how to improve your mental skills and brain power.
Never stop learning, always set new challenges, and stay involved in life with other people by joining a small group or volunteering with an organization. Physical health keeps the brain in good condition by working out three times a week along with a healthy diet. Exercise your brain with mind games, puzzles anything to get you thinking or to improve your thinking, these games will keep you sharp. Believe it or not music is good for the brain. These are ways we can increase our brain power.
My husband and I play the brain games off of lumosity www.lumosity.com . They will challenge you.
A good book to read about Mind power is: Mind power by John Kehoe.
